Founder & Director – Peninsula Home Physio
With over 15 years of physiotherapy experience, Sandeep Nair is the founder and director of Peninsula Home Physio. His clinical focus is on supporting older adults and individuals living with disabilities to maintain their mobility and independence.
After nearly a decade in private practice, he saw a growing need for physiotherapy services delivered directly in the home. In response, he founded Peninsula Home Physio in 2017 to provide high-quality, person-centred care across Melbourne’s South-East and the Mornington Peninsula.
His approach is guided by a simple yet powerful question: “If this were my family member, what support would I offer them?” This ethos shapes every interaction and decision within the business and has helped establish Peninsula Home Physio as a trusted provider in the community.
Senior Physiotherapist
Carmelo is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with over 11 years of experience across hospital, aged care, and private practice settings. Originally from Manila, Philippines, Carmelo completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of the City of Manila, inspired by a family background rich in sports and movement.
His desire to deepen his clinical expertise led him to Australia, where he completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University in South Australia. This further study helped him refine his skills and deliver evidence-based care to a wide range of clients.
Carmelo’s professional journey began with a year supporting a basketball team, treating and preventing sports injuries. He then worked in a private hospital setting in Manila before moving into aged care—a role he held for seven years across regional Australia. Supporting older adults to maintain their independence and mobility quickly became a passion.
Most recently, Carmelo has worked in private practice, helping clients of all ages meet their rehabilitation goals. He finds fulfilment in seeing clients progress through their programs, and he takes pride in creating tailored, achievable treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life.

Sandeep Nair, founder and director of Peninsula Home Physio, has over 15 years of experience in physiotherapy, working with seniors and individuals living with disabilities.
